Amanda Burgess – Solutions Manager
Amanda has spent her entire working life in the service industry and thrives when helping others achieve their goals. With a background in education and real estate sales and a degree in Psychology, her focus is on providing support for Porchlight Bay Area sales partners and ensuring A+ service to all clients. Amanda knows that real estate transactions are much more than transactions and works hard to make sure each team member and client feels as though they are a part of our real estate family.
Linnea Lico – Transaction/Listing Coordinator
Linnea grew up in a real estate family and was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has turned that passion towards supporting PorchLight Bay Area working behind the scenes as the lead transaction and listing coordinator. Linnea is the go to girl for keeping all the paperwork executed perfectly for each transaction and communication setting up the team listings. She has a degree in Communication from Santa Clara University along with experience in the service and tech industry. She is here to help the team support their goals.
Alexander Nichols, CalDRE# 02020807 – Sales Partner
Alexander is an astute real estate entrepreneur, born and raised in the Bay Area. With deep roots and ties to communities in and around Palo Alto, CA, his knowledge of the Silicon Valley markets is superb. In over 4 years of real estate sales, his experiences helping buyers, sellers, and investors has taken him around the entire Bay Area, expanding his knowledge of Bay Area real estate trends. Working in the real estate industry since 2006, Katya brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each client she works with. Throughout her extensive experience, Katya has especially enjoyed working with first-time home buyers. She uses her knowledge of the home buying process to educate clients so they can make the most informed decisions. Katya’s experiences in real estate also include working with short sales and bank owned properties. These processes can be complicated and Katya prides herself on being able to help clients navigate each transaction seamlessly. Some of Katya’s greatest strengths include her go-getter attitude and high-level negotiation skills. Katya is bilingual and delighted to offer her services to both Spanish and English speaking clients. When she is not helping clients achieve their goals in real estate, Katya enjoys taking hikes, visiting the beach, and playing soccer.

Charlene is originally from Missouri, studied community health and massage therapy in Kansas, and eventually decided to move to the Bay Area looking for new adventures and greater opportunities. She has been working in the real estate industry since 2018 after being inspired by her parents who purchased their first home in 2015. Charlene’s greatest strengths are her incredible empathy and relationship building skills. They allow her to connect with clients and build rapport with other agents and parties in a transaction. Charlene believes that all involved parties are one big family working towards the same goal! When she is not helping buyers and sellers, Charlene enjoys cooking at home and exploring hiking trails all around the Bay Area.

Born and raised in Oxnard, CA. Jaqui always knew relationships with people were her forte. A Basketball Scholarship and Performing Arts major at the Academy of Arts University brought her to San Francisco where she grew roots and developed her love for the Bay Area. As a principal actor in the hit show Beach Blanket Babylon for 10 years, Jacqui cultivated relationships with numerous contracts in the region. Yanira was born in Oakland, CA and raised among commerce, in her mother’s event. I’ve been a competitor my whole life – in school, in sports, and to this day, winning is a top priority. After graduating from Washington State University, I moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in advertising, but I eventually found success in management in the fitness industry. Wanting to be closer to home, I was fortunate to find a position as the Personal Training Director at Meta in Menlo Park. I met my wife here and we settled down in her hometown of Redwood City to raise our family. As I thought about my love of competition and passion for helping people, I knew that real estate was the perfect “home” for my future. KayLa is a natural-born leader, competitor, and sales professional. KayLa grew up in South-Central Texas riding horses and competing in rodeo. At six years old, after being told, “No!” when she asked for candy money to spend at the rodeo concession stand, KayLa created her own business plan of making coloring books and selling them to her peers and audience. Her execution was a success, and that experience fueled her passion and ignited her drive to overcome the barrier “no” ever since. It also solidified her affinity for not simply the science of sales but the fine art of delivering truly desired value to her customers. KayLa went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agriculture Leadership and Development with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing. KayLa has sales experience in a wide range of industries which makes her not only relatable but rather knowledgeable.
Following her husband’s career, KayLa and her family have had the opportunity of living in multiple states. She has empathy for anyone who may be relocating, especially for those who may be coming to or going far away from the Bay Area. KayLa has bought and sold her own properties, recently closing escrow in October of 2021.Her experience made her realize just how much of an asset and guide she can be to California home buyers. So, she decided to add real estate agent to her repertoire of skills.
