Alex was born and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey. After receiving a bachelor’s in Chinese, Alex moved to Shanghai, China where he established a Chinese contemporary art gallery with two other partners.

While Alex is passionate about China and Chinese contemporary art, he longed to return to the United States and give California-living a try. After landing at SFO for the first time, Alex was surprised to find that Northern California wasn’t all sunshine, beaches, and palm trees. (As the movies had led him to believe!) But, quite quickly, Alex fell in love with the San Francisco Bay Area and decided to make it his home.

Over the course of the next 17 years Alex established a career in the tech and biotech industries building new offices and scientific laboratories. While Alex enjoys building commercial real estate spaces, Alex has watched a lot of HGTV over the years and became excited by the prospect of helping people find their perfect home. As such, Alex made the leap from building commercial facilities to helping families buy and sell one of their most important, and consequential, assets.

When not working with clients, Alex enjoys reading the latest business books, hiking the Bay Area’s gorgeous trails, and practicing Muay Thai.
